Not Exactly Famous...

Recommended Posts

Can I propose a new thread in which we celebrate those who cannot be classed as famous in a worldwide or even a national sense, but deserve a mention.

This could be the place to note those quirky or surreal deaths, or simply those people who you feel deserve a mention due to the content of the report of their death.

Hopefully it will declutter the "Near Misses" thread.

I will kick it off with the following, who deserves to be a minor star in the firmament due to his assumed title (I doubt any of you had him in your death pools!):

The Fred Astaire of Widnes

Is this lady worth a mention? Given all the kufuffle she has caused I've a mind to give her a call.

How about this woman

And should the headline have been "Shoots You Sir" or "Mr Humphry's _Could You Come To The Basement Please"?

I think the thread is a good idea.

I posted THIS WOMAN and a moderator mucked about with it.

Ruined a not very good joke but there you are.

Still think the thread is a good idea

Either way, I think her mother has just identified herself as the famous but seldom seen Disgusted of Tonbridge Wells.

Just your everyday story of me cracking a prehistoric music hall gag and getting naught but an earful of abuse in yiddish as a reward. You know what it's like M32?

Zenoff also was a boxing judge for the state Athletic Commission at nine world championship bouts

Sounds like he was also well qualified as a divorce lawyer.

Also Mickey Roonies stand in.

A nice Telegraph obit here. An interesting tale of a Hollywood bit part player.
