The Poseidon Adventure Cast

Recommended Posts

The director will surely be the next to go.

No way, he'll be here for years yet. He'll outlive Borgnine, but both of them may outlive one of the younger names on the list.

Han't Leslie Nielsen had a couple of small health scares in the past?

Ronald Neame dead at 99. Also directed films such as The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and co-wrote films such as Brief Encounter. It says he "never recovered after suffering from a fall." Non-natural causes bonus for the four DDP pickers?

What at 99?

Still, it happened to Culp didn't it? But the enevitable 'fall' particularly at that age is a bit of a given hazard. If he fell of the edge of a cliff then yeah...

I suppose you might yet get the bonus points...should it emerge that he was pushed over by a close family member.

TMZ just reported his dead

Both Leslie Nielsen and Ernest Borgnine were scheduled to be at FanExpo in Toronto this year.

I got an autograph from the surprisingly lively Borgnine, but Nielsen didn't show up due to poor health (I was considering adding him to my 2011 deathlist). It's a shame that I couldn't get his autograph, and a bigger shame that he couldn't hold on for another 2 months

Oh well. Here's an obit

I am shocked, genuinely shocked. Not because Shirley has snuffed it but because the fact Nielsen had been hospitalised recently seemed to have escaped the radar of one of those thorough to the point of tedium posters. That's got a be a hit for Nielsen surely? Just like a camouflage condom, you didn't see that one coming.

An illness was reported here, but everyone thought it was Enrico Pallazzo.

Your a treasure trove of information @YoungWillz

I'd actually forgotten all about Stella Stevens but I think I recall hearing her son actor Andrew say in an interview a few years back that she was in poor health?

I'd argue against that, BG!

Chris Howell - C Thomas Howell's dad.

Waddy Wachtel - rock musician and producer.

Marco Lopez - been in loads of things.

Etc Etc Etc...

Admittedly, a shitload of stuntpeople....

I did watch Voyage of the Damned  this week which is almost The Poseidon Adventure and has the added benefit of Kylie Minogue in a maids outfit

It's incredible how many shot for shot bits are nabbed from the film. Bit like The Fog and Curse of Fenric in that regard. Speaking of which, Hal Holbrook is still alive! That surprised me when I looked it up when The Fog was on a few weeks ago.

That is the one about the leper ship and not an adaptation of the James Herbert book

Yep, nothing to do with Herbert. Think Fenric with a bigger budget and Americans. Also Janet Leigh playing the mum of Jamie Lee Curtis! :D
