I think we're deep into injury time here and the ref's looking at his watch.

No one selected him as a joker in the 2005 ddp, but he is on Slave to the Grave's and Rotten Ali’s list.

I am not a medical man so I was wondering if they could use his current liver for a transplant (assuming it is in reasonable condition of course). This may take him into the appropriately named Guinness Book of Records which I feel would be a fitting finale.

If he does die its one hell of an oversight for the list! :eshock:

Is that the original Grim Rita who has forgotten her password or is it an imposter?

According to The Sun he's sent farewell messages to all his friends.

Best, an infamous womaniser, is also thought to have contacted a string of ex-lovers

Bloody hell he must have been on the phone for hours.

:eshock:

He won't care - the bill will arrive after he dies, so he won't have to pay it.

Can someone tell me exactly how one "fights" for one's life? It might be useful if I ever have a serious illness.

Well I remember the poem, "Do not go gently into that dark night, but rage, rage against the dying of the light." (Larkin? Blake? :sicktherm: ) Although it doesn't sound as if he's doing much raging.

Dylan Thomas - 'Do not go gentle into that good night'

I hope the headline reads 'A Pint Of Best' followed by an interview with his liver which no doubt is sat talking to him at the end of the bed.

Mary Stavin as well, surely? Wasn't this something to do with the famous "Where did it all go wrong?" story?

Re: the poet - Dylan Thomas, was it? How appropriate.
