Very sad. One I didn’t expect to last too long but it’s a gut punch nonetheless.

Edit: Crem just before me

I was surprised when I saw it and went to here that it hadn’t already been posted.

Sad news. Such a good actor.

Never seen a Harry Potter film, but thought he was terrific in 'Cracker.' Sad news.

Meanwhile, Leslie Phillips slogs on ...

Would've won the previous Scavenger Hunt for @Toast 18 months ago.

Very sad, fine actor but he always looked like he was on borrowed time. Rest in Peace.

Sounds like he might have been in hospital for some time beforehand without the media finding out.

Some of us remember his turns in A Kick Up The Eighties and Tutti Frutti, Nuns On The Run I saw in the cinema.

Came from my neck of the woods, a bawhair from where I am now.

This year's BBC In Memoriam might need to be 2 hours at this rate...

I remember watching Tutti Frutti... on BBC when they repeated it during the lockdown!  Gets a bit grim.

Remember 2016, BBC put out their Memoriam on the 23rd December, within hours Piers Sellers and Rick Parfitt had died, Liz Smith was in hospital (died the next day) and Carrie Fisher had her heart attack. To be followed by Debbie Reynolds and George Michael within days.  The mother of all jinxes.

RiP

I particularly loved him in Cracker but he brought something special to every role.

Loved him in Flash Gordon, best closing of the door on a De Havilland Dove I've ever seen, a true genius!

-1 for my shortlist, never seen a Harry Potter film but Hagrid was one of the most parodied characters by latinamerican comedian El Bananero, so even if I've never seen an HP movie, he did leave an impact on me.
