I have noticed that Alan Gilzean has been listed by, I assume, our very own Mr. Grobler.

 

This man appears to have disappeared into thin air. At a relatively recent dinner to honour Bill Nicholson apparently even his old team mates did not know of his whereabouts.

 

Is his inclusion based on some inside information, or just a guess (perhaps by a bitter Dundee United fan)? The latter I hope.

I have noticed that Alan Gilzean has been listed by, I assume, our very own Mr. Grobler.

Cant remember where Gilzean come from....I must have been searching on "Spurs players from the 60s" or something....and his name popped up . He looked old even when I saw him play....so presumably if no one knows of his whereabouts , theres a good chance he's already gone !

Alan Gilzean (Tottenham Hotspur) Had a spell in South Africa, then returned to manage Stevenage from May 1975 -August 1976. He now runs a haulage firm in Enfield.

 

So, he might still be with us. Mind you, if he is, it must be due to all that sunshine at his favoured holiday hotspot:
