WTF is wrong with having an annual thread for each pool?  So much simpler to follow.

I mean this statement is absolutely true but what brought on the musing?

Also I'm not sure there's many hundreds of us once you knock off the bots.

I was diagnosed with OCD in my teens. Mine is based around security and safety. Triple checking locks, making sure oven is off and electrical items unplugged etc. I also had hypochondria. Over the years i've managed to curb it and worry less. My family and wife have really helped me through it. I don't think it will ever go 100% , i'm just a natural worrier. If i were a wrestler i'd be the ultimate worrier :D

Also I think we have a few eccentrics here. I can defo see a few deathlisters in real life being labelled that by their friends and family.

I do appreciate the hanker to keep the old thread on the go but every now and then you need to get a new car/dog/wife.  It will keep the clutter of 2019 away from my efforts soon to really sort out who won last year.  Also I half fancy trying to sort out who won in the year prior to me doing the duties.  To everyone still waiting, sorry. Happy new year. I've updated 90% of the old spreadsheet but won't be entering any pools in 2019. Going to be busy all this next year, but I'll be turning back the clock to the point where it all went wrong and get a host of real answers for 2018 soon.

I'd hate to think of life in terms of work over-whelming you to the point that gargantuan dead pooling talent is lost to the world for good.

You'll be back, right?

With the greatest respect to @Rotten Ali he hasn't logged in since the 16th January, the period of respecting his right to tally up the scores may well have been stretched at this point at 2 months, I know there was a few hankering to do this so over to you guys...

 I'm going to give Rotten Ali another month to round up the scores for 2018 and then - don't all stampede at once - I'll be putting the job out to tender.

If no one else is able, I should be able to do a scoreboard for 2018. I'd have most likely said no if circumstances were different but currently I'm in the "looking for a job" state which while dreary to be in, does mean I have the extra time. Plus there seems to be a bit of a lull for deadpool-relevant deaths (cue Blanco and Ricksen going tomorrow then), and having my HPDP framework in my Excel file will make rosters/scores for further years smoother to implement.

From what I can tell, here's all the hits for the 2018 HPDP. No "who picked who" or bonuses yet, but this will be an easy reference point to work out the scores "as it happened":

Thomas S. Monson - January 2

Rayya Elias - January 4

France Gall - January 7

Jessica Falkholt - January 17

Naomi Parker Fraley - January 20

Patrick Cryne - January 21

Connie Sawyer - January 21

Mark E. Smith - January 24

Paul Alcock - January 29

Francisco Nunez Olivera - January 29

Liam Miller - February 9

Marty Allen - February 12

Prince Henrik of Denmark - February 13

Morgan Tsvangirai - February 14

Lassie Lou Ahern - February 15

Billy Graham - February 21

Nanette Fabray - February 22

Roger Bannister - March 3

Vanessa Goodwin - March 3

Ken Dodd - March 11

Stephen Hawking - March 14

Barbara Bush - April 17

Nabi Tajima - April 21

Bessie Camm - May 11

Tessa Jowell - May 12

Ray Wilson - May 15

Dean Francis - May 25

Dwight Clark - June 4

Teddy Johnson - June 6

Mary Wilson - June 6

Reinhard Hardegen - June 9

Big Van Vader - June 18

Princess Elisabeth of Denmark - June 19

Johnny Hubbard - June 21

Clive King - July 10

Lindy Remigino - July 11

Nancy Barbato Sinatra - July 13

Mary Carlisle - August 1

Charlotte Rae - August 5

Stefan Karl Stefansson - August 21

John McCain - August 25

Vanessa Marquez - August 30

Burt Reynolds - September 6

Kulsoom Nawaz - September 11

Denis Norden - September 19

Sangharakshita - October 30

Devin Lima - November 21

George H. W. Bush - November 30

Sister Wendy Beckett - December 26

LotLers are Colin Butts, Elder Roma Wilson, and Morton Sobell (who got suitable obits but his death was not announced until late January 2019).

Also @Bibliogryphon only posted his first 9 names publicly but indicated he PMed 10 due to some confusion over Ali's absence. If he still knows who his 10th name was I'd appreciate it.

@Sean as far as I can tell never put in new names after Garner/Franco died so I will just bump his subs up to 9th and 10th on his main team and have no sub slots on his team. Similar case with @Prophet but he only had Franco.
