MyBrainHurts2 4 Posted December 28, 2005 Saddam Hussein or Chief Judge Rizgar Mohammed Amin? Hussein will likely not get a death sentence, but will be protected in jail, while Judgy poo is out and about and some militant nutball will have the opportunity to make his/her displeasure known in a big way when the trial is over, but that's just my opinion. He bloody better get a death sentence, he's on my DDP team. Surely they wouldn't let him live, I can't see the Shia majority standing for that.

I think he'll get the death sentence if he doesn't die of old age first. Not that I think trials should be rushed, but there's like a day of testomony followed by a fortnight of adjournment each time.

I think that they will find Saddam guilty and give him the death sentence. Any other sentence for him will be politically unacceptable in that country. I am not too sure whether he will be executed this year if found guilty though, as his lawyers are certain to file appeals. I think he is a safe bet for 2007 though. Windsor 2,233 Posted December 28, 2005 Saddam Hussein will be the first to die. I'm certain he will be executed. It's a country in the middle east(ish) area controlled by Americans with a Texan in office as President. His chances of avoiding execution are as slim as an anorexic tape worm.
