Rudolph Walker is 80 today!!! :birthday:

I'm sorry but Love Thy Neighbour and The Thin Blue Line trump EastEnders and Doctor Who for me.

Awful news, thought of him as my on screen big brother, even though he was old enough to be my dad.

Scrolling through, looks reliable. The links to folk and history over time seem to confirm the accuracy.

Meant to mention, chanced on an episode of Dad's Army last week in which the platoon were clearly performing a morris dance

Only mention this because Ian Lavender remains alive and the HPDP remains a going concern

Series 7 episode 4 "The Godiva Affair" if anyone's that bothered about investigating

Not to forget the Vicar, Frank Williams,  is still going, now 88.

Oh aye,

I was channel hopping incidentally, only saw a few seconds of the platoon morris dancing, fairly sure the vicar wasn't jigging about with bells on his knees. No bonus points to be had unless Frank Williams wandered into shot in a porno once over.

Pauline Qurike seems to have been quiet recently - no projects for a couple of years and her acting school website is all about her legacy.

Happy with this thread, though Blackstuff is what I most remember him from. Tough watch for a young teen.

I will miss him.
