Fat And Fearless

As any death fan will of course know, hangman Albert Pierrepoint could guess a man's weight just by shaking his hand. Although maybe with al-Nima he'd have to use his feet as well.

Wouldn't the problem be finding a strong enough rope?

Dzhambulat Khatokhov, a 21-year old Russian sumo-wrestler, but mostly notably for being the "World's biggest child" since the age of 3, has died at 21 from kidney problems:

Probably also a winner in the "Scrabble deficit" (?) department.

I had him on my longlist for years, from about 2010 onwards. Eventually gave up on the guy because he just kept going on and on.

52 is no age, but I'm actually shocked he lived that long given his size!

Obituaries: Daily MirrorThe SunDaily Mail

GoFundMe page set up by Austin's friends to raise money for a funeral. Likely because the coffin will need to be custom made (and that's not me pulling a cruel joke, that's actually true in the cases of morbidly obese people).

The page confirms he died of a cardiac arrest. Something he was warned about in the Richard Hammond documentary on him from about a decade ago.

Alberto Andrade (1911-2021) Younger one of the world's oldest brothers. If he makes it to December, he'll probably be the fattest person to reach 110 this far

She planned to open a dance studio for kids. I mean, they could build  a life-size replica of her and put the dance studio inside, right:

Paul Mason wasn’t too keen on being roasted like a pig postmortem.

The former world’s fattest man, who once tipped the scales at nearly 1,000 pounds, claims that his UK hospital ward had planned to cremate him in a slaughterhouse if he died due to his massive size, the Daily Mail reported. He detailed the inhumane idea in the ITV documentary “The World’s Fattest Man: 10 Years On.”

*He (article states that at time of death, Ventress went by he/him).

Well he transitioned into another gender, and now he's transitioned from life. At least he was consistent.

Article states he committed suicide. The 11th person to die after appearing on My 600 Lb Life, and he won't be the last.

Theodoros Pangalos. Greek PASOK politician and Deputy PM 2009-2012 known for his quote "We ate them together" (meaning "We are all responsible for the debt", according to wikipedia. Whatever else he ate, he ate alone)

When Mikis Theodorakis died last year, he said that he'll "meet you (Theodorakis) again soon". He's 83 now.

Not sure if ever mentioned on these forums, Eric Booker (BadlangsChugs or Badlands Booker), competitive eater:

There's a list of his accomplishments on his wikipedia page that he has had since 2006. At 53 he's quite old for a record-breaking competitive eater and drinker still "working"
