Ha! I thought about posting that as well. The story is almost like that of Debbie Blackhurst, another gran-with-terminal-cancer. Meeting Adele was on her bucket list. She died early this year but didn't obit.

Well, I don't think he'll make it to 70. I notice something in the article though.

But he also says that he'd never been drunk until a 201 trip to Mexico

Amazing. I think we found a time traveler... ;)

Dunno - he could see 70 easy because on those vices he may well get a warning by way of chest pains or the like and a stent and a good talking to later that five a day habit might make sense.

If he still rocks like he did on stage with Nine Inch Nails a few years ago, I don't mind him getting older.

Former Felt bass player Mick Lloyd, according to their Facebook page.

It's a bad year to be a former Felt bassist named Mick, as Mick Bund has now died.

Played bass on The Pictorial Jackson Review, but here's a track from his band Mexico 70 which he fronted.

Pierre Henry was summat of a student of the absurd in music - so doubtless he'd appreciate appearing in a Dead POP Stars thread

Would have thought Isao Tomita was a cert last year, but I guess their is a cultural blind spot about Pioneering Electronic Musicians among UK National Obit writers.
