gcreptile 10,978 Posted January 15, 2018 Now I will never get the chance for my O'Riordan vs. O'Connor thread (title: "O'ffed"). But it's seriously sad. I think she had a couple of demons. Though as of now, the cause of death is not yet revealed.
Vinegar Tits 606 Posted January 15, 2018 Sad news. Saw The Cranberries many many times very early on (they were a bit like Radiohead in that they always seemed to be the support/on the same bill as other bands I liked) as well as in their own right numerous times; they were always excellent live. Went off them from Zombie onwards when Dolores developed her vocal style to be - to these ears anyway - as irritating as possible but the first album is still stunning. She's admittedly had her problems in the past but would anyone have thought she'd go before Sinead?

the_engineer 1,415 Posted January 15, 2018 This was not a healthy looking woman! I'd say drugs after watching this interview, thinner and seems her mind is in fog. Of course cancer and depression can do those things aswell. compare with this interview only 4 years ago she looks 10/15 years older in the BBC interview. Its shocking really. GossipGabe 333 Posted January 15, 2018 2 hours ago, TomTomTelekom said: Rumors are circulating about suicide. Very sad. R.I.P. and condolences to her family. Yeah the sudden and unexpected death and the lack of an immediate explanation (cause of death) might suggest suicide or accidental death due to intoxication (overdose on drugs [either illegal or prescription a la Heath Ledger]). Or it could have been as simple as a heart attack. I think we'd need to wait for the autopsy results to be sure.

To be honest, suicide was the first thing that crossed my mind too. We'll find out soon enough I suppose.
Whitehouse 872 Posted January 15, 2018 We've had several polls of two people pitted against each other (Like Helmut and Helmut). I would never thought of as poll between her and Sinead...... though in hindsight.....
