Sir Creep 7,070 Posted August 3, 2022 The Kinks should have their own thread imo. This is their manager/producer. Mo Ostin, the legendary music executive who helmed Warner Brothers Records for more than 30 years, has died of natural causes at the age of 95. SC

SC The Kinks are marginal to a massive career where Ostin is concerned. Basically, the rosters at Warners and Reprise for decades - Paul Simon, Neil Young, Frank Sinatra etc. etc. - all bear his signature. Lived long enough to lose two of his three kids and also pay UCLA (where he studied) a cool $10 million. A major figure in popular music, frankly.
TheKeysOfMarinus 390 Posted August 3, 2022 Huge figure. The architect of Little Richard’s (fairly) successful comeback in 1970, for the rock and roll freaks among us.
harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy 1,689 Posted August 3, 2022 The Kinks have a thread; it’s called Dave Davies, and it used to have (maybe still does?) the perfect subtitle You Nearly Got Me.

When someone on here claims points for a death, it's all about them. When someone posts their hits on their Shadow List, it's all about them. When someone on here reviews their DDP standings, it's all about them. When someone moans about the ability of the Committee to miss the obvious picks they would have picked, it's all about them. When someone has to troll another member while contributing nothing to the site, it's all about them. When someone has a disaster on the Inverse pool, it's all about them. And in your case, the only way to get an erection is to criticise others and get your post count up. Fortunately, I don't have long to listen to much more of the shite on here. Good day sir. 3 1

Hmmm As the person with the highest post count in the history of this site I can honestly say that I've never used a posting splurge hereabouts as preparation for any sexual act and - frankly - it'd likely be a turn off on an epic scale for the person on the receiving end (heh heh) if I ever did attempt it. Mentioning it mainly so's young and impressionable dead poolers don't get the wrong idea. Stick to tractor porn and a stack of fresh vegetables
