Assuming he fell head first (especially at a lateral angle) onto concrete pavement I can definitely see how it happened. He appears to have landed on wooden decking. Ten minutes after his death the sick fucks at TMZ had published pictures of his dead body - in particular his tattoos to prove it was him.

Vinegar Tits 606 Posted October 24 Inger Lorre of The Nymphs dead from recently diagnosed cancer at 61. Mucho hype and notoriety in the early 90s but the band probably gained the most publicity after Inger pissed on a record company exec's desk. After The Nymphs imploded she co-wrote (actually added a verse but anyway) 'Yard Of Blonde Girls' with Audrey Clark of one of my favourite bands of the 90s the 360s, covered by Jeff Buckley. Sad news. Only found out via Kathy Valentine's Instagram.

Saddest I've been from a musicians death since MCA. Will Cullen Hart, co-founder of the legendary indie rock collective Elephant 6 and the Olivia Tremor Control, has died. He was 53. Robert Schneider, of the Elephant 6-affiliated band Apples In Stereo, confirmed Hart’s death “of natural causes” on Facebook today (Nov. 29). https://www.facebook.com/robert.schneider.351/posts/27740061178973933?ref=embed_post 2
nantonian2013 50 Posted 21 hours ago The one saving grace of deaths like these is that it introduces you to bands you'd been meaning to listen to for years, but had not yet got around to. The Olivia Tremor Control fall firmly within that category.
