Report from a fairly reliable source that Buzz Clifford has died, US singer who had a one hit wonder, reaching #17 in the UK in 1960 with Baby Sittin' Boogie:

She'll be back as a Zombie...

Seems to have gone unnoticed that 5 days later Argent's bass player would drop over.  You know....Argent, as in Rod, as in The Zombies.
Odd that wasn't previously tied together in a nice bow, being 5 days apart.

Neil wasn't in the band when their first album "Tell Us The Truth" was released, he had already been replaced by Dave Parsons.

Not sure of the source however, it is being reported that Dennis Edwards formerly of The Temptations has died: https://www.hip-hopvibe.com/2018/02/02/dennis-edwards-former-lead-singer-of-the-temptations-has-died-at-75-years-old-twitter-mourns-his-death-ripdennisedwards/

Mirror has it for what that's worth: https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/dennis-edwards-dead-temptations-lead-11960634

“It had been reported in May last year that Dennis was 'seriously ill'.

Journalist Ken Bedford posted on Facebook at the time: "Prayers are needed for singer Dennis Edwards of the Temptations. He was admitted to a St Louis hospital after returning from a concert date in Canada last week. He is seriously ill and I won't say any more until until his wife releases details.”

So this is a big miss for the lot of us?

However this DOES give me a new search term “seriously ill”.  Hadn’t tried that one yet.

Edit: NOPE!  YoungWillz alerted us May 7 2017.  Well done Y-Dub.

Well, he's retiring from touring.

Oh good. I'm sure Edie Brickell will be pleased with him being home a lot more now.

A quick question given the recent announcements by Elton John and Paul Simon. Anyone know how many other pop stars have headed out all hale and hearty and buoyant on their Official Last World Tour and never managed to get to the end of it alive? None spring to mind personally.

I don't think Elton John or Paul Simon are going to die within the next couple of years but I don't see them living another 10 years.

NONE fit that bill exactly as I can recall though quite a few - notably Lemmy - died with dates still in the diary (they just hadn't announced those tours as the end of anything)
