Yeah, the rumour was for their bassist, didn't mention who or if he was still in the band.

Vic Emerson, best known for his period with Sad Café and who co-wrote Every Day Hurts for them, has died aged 69 from pancreatic cancer. https://www.theguardian.com/theguardian/2018/nov/08/vic-emerson-obituary

(Did a search a nothing came up).

Edit: Looks like he died around 13 October.

Slightly interesting he was a keyboard player named Emerson.  It isn’t exactly ‘Jones’ or ‘Smith’.

Very reliable source posting that Michael King of The King Brothers, who had a 1957 hit with A White Sport Coat...., has died aged 83.

Genesis P-Orridge update. Leukaemia is "stable" right now, but expected to turn terminal within the next year. A late 2019/early 2020 death for sure, but which one?

Thanks very much. Very interesting. They've lasted longer than I thought.

Actually, extremely deathlist worthy.

Aye, he'd be a challenge for the DL pickers - obit-worthy for sure and - maybe - worth a DDP punt next year on the basis that diagnosis could be wrong

Heart trouble, mind - could be treatable

So all that "Cancer, and my name is Larry" bollocks on the hit single was just a tease, then?
