Ah that's a shame, interesting band they were. Love their original song "Rule The World" which got lots of airplay here in Canada when it was released.

Mike Taylor, keyboardist for the pop band Walk off the Earth, has died.

Edit:  Guess I'm one post too late.  I looked up "Taylor" and got nothing for tonight.

That's cuz Fixed Business's post doesn't have Taylor's name in the text, only in an image containing text.  It's a crime  we need to stop lol.

Shame you didn't press the 'dead of 2018' button.  It was posted over 6 hours ago there.

That reminds me - who have you not been able to fit in to your Dead Pop Stars broadcast this year?

Ray Sawyer for one

We put the show together in mid-December and decided if there was a Lemmy style late death we'd make a fuss of them in 2019.

That track list in full (if you're wondering why Black Sabbath/Wilson Picket etc. - it's for producers, songwriters and the like, basically):

16-12-2018 SHOW 289 – LIST OF THE LOST 2018

Wilson Pickett:            Hey Jude

France Gall:     Teenie Weenie Boppie

Black Sabbath:            The Eternal Idol

The Moody Blues:      And the Tide Rushes in

Motorhead:     Overkill

The Cranberries:          Never Grow Old

Peter Wyngarde:         The Way I Cry Over You

Hugh Masakela/Dollar Brand:            Yardbird Suite

The Fall:          Winter

The Grateful Dead:     Cassidy

The Temptations:        Psychedelic Shack

Shocking Blue:            Long and Lonesome Road

Hot Butter:      Popcorn

A.C.:   Jack Kevorkian is Cool

Elvis Presley:   Hound Dog

The Piranhas:   Tom Hark

Aretha Franklin:          I Never Loved a Man The Way I Love You

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds:           (Are you) the One I’ve Been Waiting For?

Iosif Kobzon   Igraet Organ

Jefferson Starship:      Runaway

Fenella Fielding:         Outdoor Girl

Elvis Presley:   Polk Salad Annie

Pink Floyd:     Talkin’ Hawking

Wizzard:          The Carlsberg Special

The Residents: Good Vibes

Jeff Beck:        Hi-Ho Silver Lining

The Buzzcocks:           E.S.P.

The Dovells:    United we Stand

Johan Johannsson:       They Being Dead yet Speaketh

I"m sorry did I miss a related Pink Floyd death last year?  What -- cover artist or summat?  If  a sound engineer died I've forgotten.

Some good tunes there though, a few DO remind me that we lost someone from the band (e.g. Shocking Blue)

I think it's because of the track "Talkin' Hawking" . Perhaps in honour of Stephen Hawking.

Stephen Hawking - guest vocalist on Floyd's Endless River album. It was either that or play the Carl Sagan single with Stevo giving it some guest vocal (and we've done that track to death over the years)

Incidentally Ford was a recoving alchie so should - maybe - have been on our radar hereabouts. His Wiki page mentions fundraising for Frankie Miller who's had a brain haemorrage. Anyone know his health status cos he's obitable for sure.
