Wasn’t on my mind to pick him for the cup, but sometimes it’s disappointing to never pick a fascinating name like him. Oh well...

That's going to be a swing and a miss for my TOTP Theme Team.

Unless he makes it to 2020, when he will be on that team for The Caterpillar.

Andy Anderson becomes the second miss for me. Secret cancer bods.

An uncommon opinion, but The Top (the album Anderson played on) might be my favourite album by The Cure, so I'm saddened by this news.

As I am about the news of Mark Hollis' death, those last three Talk Talk records and his solo record are just incredible. Spirit Of Eden is one of my favourite albums of all time.

RIP to both of them.

Hmmm swore when his name emerged the link(s) I saw mentioned he played on The Love Cats, which was years prior to The Top.  Hmmm....
Interestingly, I may agree with your Cure album choice.  There's two of us?   Since I saw them tour for The Top, would I have seen Anderson live?

Possibly, apparently he was fired before they played Minneapolis on that tour for wrecking a motel room.

Stephan Ellis, who had two stints as bassist for the band Survivor, no longer fits in the category indicated by its name.

Didn’t the singer die a couple years back?

Survivor has lost two other members in recent years.  The band's second lead vocalist, Jimi Jamison, died in September 2014.  Didn't sing on 'Eye of the Tiger', but was the vocalist for several more U.S. top 40 hits, including three more top 10s.  Earlier that year, short-term backup vocalist Fergie Fredriksen (who was on a number of deathlists), also passed away.

So far I've had to delete Mark Hollis and Stephan Ellis from the Hits of 1986 list. Maybe I should have done Hits of 33 years ago this year...

This bit stands out:

I will get through this time in my life and although there will be the darkest of days, I will thrive, not just survive.

Oh he's going downhill now.

All we need is Philomena Lynott to pop her clogs and getting dropped off Pan Breed will wind up deadlier than an Aaron Ramsey hat-trick.

Former Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John and Paul McCartney tour and production manager Gerry Stickells died after a long illness, industry sources confirmed.

Born in 1942, Stickells was broadly credited with having created the modern touring industry in a career that began when he took the job of Hendrix’s driver in 1966. He stayed with the iconic guitarist until his death in 1970, identified the body for official purposes and flew with it from the U.K. to the U.S. for burial.

Greg Gilbert has managed to knock out a piece of art afore his hands are affected by the chemo.

Interesting. (Go towards the Light Greg....go....)

Look a few inches above on your monitor, enter www.youtube.com in the search bar, and search up the song there. It takes an extra 2 or 3 clicks (maybe four to close your porn tabs too)
