A close source of mine told me that Warwick Davis was admitted to hospital after suffering a stroke. He’s been in hospital for a couple of days now.

Just a quick unimportant update on this, apparently he was stressing the nurses out because he kept wanting to walk around when they told him to take it easy. Doesn’t seem that serious and sounds like he could easily sweep it under the carpet.

Hopefully he doesn’t have that second stroke people don’t usually bounce back from

So he was the one getting all the uncredited extra roles in all those movies where the major characters were dwarves.

Wonder how it feels like.

Leaves Rusty Goffe, 71, and Albert Wilkinson, 82, as the only surviving actors to have portrayed oompa loompas in WWATCF.

All three should obit I imagine?

Any idea what happened to Rudy Borgstaller? There doesn’t seem to be any evidence that he’s either alive or dead...

I think this was settled the other year when a link was posted somewhere to an interview with Rusty Goffe saying that himself Dixon and Wilkinson were the last three still living.

I think one or two of the others are missing bio details on IMDb too. Likely that appearing in the film was a one off role for them and they died in obscurity. Quite a few of them were pretty old at the time it was filmed as well.

An editor on Wiki seems to think he was 85 at the time of his death, not 66 as reported, which would make a lot more sense if you look at the pictures of him.

And note the debate about deleting this Wiki page on an actor who, although I didn't know the name, was an instant "oh yeah that guy". Wiki Editors are crazy.

Yes, and the editor who proposed it sounds like a Grade A cockwomble.

Maybe we should move to delete his articles on people we haven't heard of/things that don't interest us.  :evil2:

This site is full of lame people.  Should all be posting the same pile of dead short Jokes.  My home DP does (and will) and it’s a joy every time. It’s like all y’all don’t even try.

’He was hoping to make it to August, came up short’.  There.  I feel better.

I tend to leave the dad jokes to people that are actually dads or are old enough to be one. xo

The Twitter now starting to notice something’s not right with him on the Christmas edition of Tenable. Defo not 100% his usual self.

He has recently dropped back to only filming 1/3 of Tenable's new commission with the other 2/3 of new episodes hosted by Sally Lyndsay.

However he is also plaining on filming a film role next year.
