A damn shame, that. Not only a fine musician, but also a death we could have got on the list:

His management company said that he had been in poor health for the past year.

regards,

Hein

There are too many to count. But i'd keep a careful eye on perhaps Ozzy Osbourne?

Strange I say that everybody because once again another phycic message has come my way.

Just quickly reading through his biography on his IMDB page I came across this*

Before the success of The Osbournes (2002), he was known by most people as "the singer who bites heads off bats". This rumor traces back to one isolated incident. On January 20, 1982, at a concert in Des Moines, a bat wound up on stage, which had either been stuck in the rafters or thrown up there by a crazed fan. Osbourne bit it for a goof, thinking it was a rubber toy. He was treated to a week of rabies shots. Despite a $25,000 donation later that year to the SPCA, the bat story grew to be an urban legend of its own, to the point where even numerous unrelated heavy metal bands were commonly accused of ritualistically killing live animals on stage.

There are alot of day in a year, I happened to read his bio on the aniversery

of his famous bat biting incident. Now only to find out what this all means.

Haven't had one of these since reading James Doohan's bio on the

night of July 19th. The night before he died. ;)

Cheerio Wilson, you caught us all off guard. Not one person had you in the derby deadpool either.

Two "soul legends" gone in the space of a couple of weeks. Could this be one of these things that "comes in threes"?

So.....any other minor 60s singers?

Another soul singer with 'colliery connections', Isaac Hayes, ('The Theme from Shaft'), was rushed to hospital recently suffering from 'exhaustion'.

I was trying to work in a pun about 'Knock on Wood' until I remembered it wasn't the 'Wicked Pickett' but Eddie Floyd.

Bugger.

I'm going to play his storming cover of 'Born to be Wild' tonight on my new baby...

Hmm, A dialysis machine that has a bottle of Johnny Walker attached. I knew I shouldn't have tried to look after George Best following his liver transplant.

Otis has been deceased since 1967.....he must have fallen off the dock of the bay.

A shame that Nat King Cole is no longer with us.

I mentioned Dave Davies from the Kinks last year. I think Ray will be grand for decades yet though. Saw him in concert this year and he looked good, very good :)
