Shuffled off his mortal Coil?

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news

The ironically (re)named Jhonn Balance apparently had fatal balance problems - strangely I was going to a gig with Coil playing the day before his death but the gig was cancelled due to venue problems - so I was nearly at a famous last ever show - but not quite. Perhaps I should get my tickets (awaiting return) up on ebay :(

Bill Alley

... for the uninitiated amongst you, this aussie was one of the top cricket umpires on the circuit and a great player before that

Gunder Hagg

Never heard of him personally, but no wonder - one has to feel sorry for him! Apparently held the mile record for 9 YEARS BEFORE Bannister did the under 4 minute jobby!

Jerry Scoggins

I was out last night, so far too late to get the exclusive on Scarman, so have this one on me instead.

"Black Gold, Texas Tea!", etc. etc.

P.S. I see Buddy Ebsen died last year at the age of 95! Missed that one completely!

I thought of her but didn't think she was famous enough. I suppose the BBC reported her demise because she worked there for so long.

Anyway now she's already dead.

Are we going to open up the DL to non-humans then? I wonder if the Blue Peter animals are looking a bit peaky.......?

I just though that being around to actually witness the final obliteration of a species might be of note <_<

Bit like watching the Tasmanian Tiger go pop. :D

Mind you, won't be long until the next one ... Bit More Human-Like :D
