Max (In A Grave) Bygraves

Recommended Posts

His wife Blossom has died. Bygraves does kinda "feel" like a DL pick.

Especially as that article says he was "recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s".

Are you sure he wasn't just impersonating Peter Falk?

#edit Just realised my mistake - I read "Max Bygraves" and my brain said "Mike Yarwood". I need a holiday...#

Bit of muck-raking from the Daily Mail re Max's third 'lovechild'.

The report reveals

He is now very ill, with — apparently — only rare moments of lucidity.

One for next year.

Bit of an update via in a roundabout way from the Krankies (don't ask), who visit him when they are in Australia...

Apparently Max Bygraves is now very ill with Alzheimers and no longer recognises anyone, so those "rare moments of lucidity" have gone. At his wife Blossom's funeral last year he didn't know where he was and was asking his daughter why he was at a funeral and where was his wife.

Also last time they visited Max Bygraves they took along a video of one his own shows from the 80s and not only did he not recognise himself but he also said that he was much better than the bloke on the telly was.

I guess he won't be telling people a story any time soon...

Hopefully we will soon be able to relate the story of his death.
