Larry Kings family rushing to be at his bedside  according to the Sun ...https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/6483990/larry-king-hospitalized-covid-19/ Not looking good at all...:pop:

I posted a response to this 6 hours ago which apparently was deleted.  I don't get it.  So let's try posting the offensive one-liner again.

'That's a lot of family if you include his ex-wives'.

I damn well posted it, it's not present anymore.

Well, I guess we're assuming that Larry King is a goner within the next 24 hours if he hasn't already passed.

Oh the shame that the committee left him out.

Which as we've seen before in some cases happens before a sudden dip

......Or that the covid speculation has, again, gotten carried away and is set to end in an anti-climax

Considering his conditions, that would be quite an improvement too.

Even if he survives covid, I still think he's gone this year.
Aren't heart attacks, strokes, etc more common with post-covid symptoms and complications?
This could also be an issue with Los Angeles' 0% hospital capacity. They may be triaging patients who need the ICU bed more than King. This doesn't necessarily mean that he is out of the woods yet.

Looks like he was on oxygen but not on a ventilator.(much like Boris Johnson). He is now breathing on his own and out of ICU.He's even spoken to his sons on a video call. He has cheated death again it seems ! https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/larry-king-hospitalized-covid-moved-icu-75047064

I thought he has reached the limit of times to cheat death - guess he is immortal. Great job, DL committee afterall.

1)He is not out of the woods yet

2)He has had so many health issues his death this year is more than likely

Larry's looked very iffy for some years now but always bounces back. I think he'll see the year out quite comfortably.

Or Pulmonary rehab. Actually, if one of the oldest notible survivors in the world with 3 heart attacks and stroke behind him does that, I may as well swim across the channel.

His survival really shows you how truly deadly this virus is. We must have a lockdown immediately!!!

And I guess Luke Letlow's death shows how truly harmless it is.

What it shows is that there are always genetic outliers, nothing more.

The number of people under 60 with no underlying health conditions who have died from COVID-19 in the UK is only 388 (as of 27th December 2020). That's across 12 months and millions of people within that age bracket.

Once they knew the risk factors associated with morbidities i.e. age, cancers, type 1 diabetes, obesity, all those who were vulnerable should have practiced shielding, whilst the rest of us got on with our lives. These repeated lockdowns are far more devastating long term.  According to the Centre for Economics and Business Research, lockdown is costing the UK economy £2.4 billion per day. It's utter madness.

In 20 years time we will look back at this and acknowledge we heavily overreacted.

I think some people need to practice a lot harder because they still haven't got the hang of it!

Are there any other current events you wish to downplay? What are your thoughts on Jeffree Star allegedly getting schlonged by Kanye West?

Let’s focus on the real problems here.
