Can't stand plastic Paddys ( or should that be Paddies?).

Anyone you meet overseas who has a pseudo 19th century map of the country they claim to be from should be shot.

Fuck me it worked.

I'm still a bit in awe at BS' wisdom at such a tender age about Irish girls

But "limiting drinks", likely ends in the gardai with guns and that.

Try it at your peril.

You are absolutely correct sir.

There are still a few rogue chat threads floating around the main board.

One last year the lovely YW pointed out.

Thank you

As much as I roasted St. Patrick's Day on these forums 2 years ago, I've got to say this year I got in the holiday spirit... by getting shitfaced with my friends at the downtown Chicago parade yesterday. :champagne:

Next stop is the Polish parade in May.

I am half Northern Irish. My family is Protestant but they are still celebrating St. Patrick's Day a bit.

Did you go to the painting of the river, @RadGuy??

As for the fat cunt narcissist, clovers are for children and breakfast cereal.  Shamrocks are for the Irish.  Nae '4-leaf' shamrocks.
You'd think you would  know that, having the appearance of someone what pounded back a few McDonald's shamrock shakes.
Nothing more enjoyable than the projecting narcissist who knows nothing trying to make it look like others know nothing.
Pull your skirt down, toots, your insecurity is showing.

Oh well. It wouldn't be an Irish occasion (wedding / funeral) without a fight and a lifetime ban.

In my experience.

E.T.A aye, I told you it was a Scots Gaelic word!

No, that was at 9:00 in the morning, bit too early for our group, especially since we live a ways away from downtown.

I was gonna say we didn't even get to see the river *at all* during the day, but I just fuckin realized it's right by the damn train station. Had to have seen it, so either the dye had already worn off and thus wasn't memorable, or I was too inebriated to notice or remember the color change.

'Twas a good day regardless!
