'Comfortable & Resting' almost sounds like end of life/palliative care to me.

It'll be another 45-60 mins to drive from the airport to Balmoral.

A lot of helicopters waiting at Aberdeen airport when you look at Flightradar24

Aberdeen airport a big heliport for the North Sea oil rigs so wouldn't read much into it

Now my Tumblr feed is going on about Trisha Paytas being in labour while the queen holds out so she doesn't get reincarnated as her kid, lol.

Just in case The Queen is reading this :D  in her final moments I'd just like to share with you all a funny family moment that we shared with Her Majesty.

We went on a trip to London and were outside Buckingham Palace sightseeing when the big  black gates opened and a car drove towards us and through the gates - we were the only people around, no crowds just the 5 of us.

As we casually looked in the back of the car there was The Queen herself looking out. My wife's face was one of excited bemusement and she started waving frantically - she must have looked comical because we all saw The Queen look at her and then uncontrollably chuckle to herself as if 'who the fuck else did they think would be coming out of Buck Pal in a big Daimler'. She then gave her a little wave back.

This will always be a favourite memory of a moment we shared with The Queen and how we will always think of her.

May your final moments be peaceful and thank you for being such a wonderful sovereign for our country.

I doubt she will die today. But yeah, the signs are not great.

I would say she will leave us within 72 hours.  Both my parents last two days after they were sedated, and I believe the queen is now under sedation.

Are you suggesting someone was removed en route?

When George VI died, England were playing a Test match in India. Today, they're playing South Africa at the Oval (still waiting to start, in fact). In 1952 the rest day was brought forward out of respect. Nowadays there isn't a rest day, but I suspect play would be suspended tomorrow if she goes in the next few hours.

Incidentally, England lost that match to India, for the first time. One of the England players said later - "the Indians were very generous to us. They said we lost because we were all upset that the King had died."
