This can't be real can it?

I'm not British, but I don't think anyone in the world would be ready for such a death

Flightplan filed for 13:30 for one of the Falcon 900s to get to Aberdeen, presumably William. If she's hanging on / being kept alive for his arrival it could be over by 4.

Not saying this is the case, but many spouses that were married long periods of time have been shown to die within a short time frame of each other. Some famous examples are Johnny Cash (Sept. 2003) and his wife June (May 2003) or George H. W. Bush (Nov. 2018) and his wife Barbara (April 2018). I think the Queen seems extremely healthy for her age, but there could be many things behind the scenes we do not know about. One could be her heartbreak over the death of her husband Phillip and the desire to rejoin him.

Isn't there a specific time that BBC announces royal deaths? I know we had all this discussed when it came to Phillip.

I wonder if Liz Truss' gut bacteria are killing her.

Good time to stock up on Union and Royal Standard flags to sell on eBay. Time to grease those poles so that they don't get stuck while lowering.

Don't think so. Philips death was announced around midday. Queen Mothers was early evening. Margaret was the morning IIRC

Fuck why does this feel so unbelievable - 96 year old dying surely should not make me feel like this?

I think this could be it. How many days off will we get? lol

First crisis of the Truss government - there'll be no day off because of the economy.

There will be one day off for her State Funeral and another for Charles III's Coronation sometime later.

The Commonwealth leaders need to be informed before it is announced.
