Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets

Recommended Posts

Malik Ishaq, leader of the outlawed Sunni group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi in Pakistan and also responsible for the deaths of hundreds of civilians, has been shot dead by the Pakistani police:

He was also on the US list of global terrorists (hmm....).

Former IRA assassin Kevin McGuigan shot dead in an apparent revenge killing:

http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/aug/12/ex-ira-gunman-shot-dead-in-apparent-revenge-killing

Huh, they still kill each other there?

Hey now THAT'S the spirit! Never thought I'd see the IRA representing in here; in fact it hadn't crossed my mind.

Probably the wrong place to start promoting mah ah-rish speert, dontcha know.

And yes after a few pints those McGuigan boys get after each other.

Fadhil Ahmad al-Hayali, also known as Hajji Mutazz, has been killed by a U.S. drone strike:

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/08/isil-command-hajji-mutazz-killed-iraq-air-strike-150821191213398.html

He was the deputy leader of ISIL, and the german article that first caught my attention called him "ISIS' nr.2"

Is ISIS' nr.2 the new Al-Qaeda's nr.3?

Beginning of a new phase of the troubles in the making here?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-34061948

Aye, and if that alleged republican feud has proven owt so far it's that they still have access to firearms.

Not all of the factions 'gave up', so there will be a fair few sloshing about, plus that have been bought over the last decade or so.

Just announced they ARE withdrawing, so the threat level goes up a tad, then?

No, they announced they are going to vote on withdrawing.

Your level of misreporting is along the lines of the media, DUP , SF etc calling them the "IRA", whether it be the IRA, Official IRA , Provisional IRA , Real IRA , Continuity IRA , Oglaigh na hEireann or whoever.

It seems to be with SF saying 'there is no ira' and the fuzz saying there is with a hierarchy in place, that SF won't admit they don't speak for all Republican factions. And if they don't, then 100% decommissioning was not the case, and the Unionists being there is for nothing.

Give it 2/3 weeks for the political side to settle, then there may be some repub on repub action, but with the main marching season past, that will be it (apart from the continuing having a pop at a pig pastime).

Ach, one shot paddy will be along I hope to give a better view.

I'm amazed how some people here manage to type so well with a "Go ISIS! #1" novelty foam finger on each hand.

Guantanamo prisoner and likely (but not convicted) terrorist Omar Abu Bakr (43?) was recently released by the US government because of his deteriorating health:

Abu Suleiman al-Masri, one of the biggest names in Syria's al-Qaeda, is ...probably.... dead:

He either got killed by Assad's army or by Kurdish forces.

Another 9/11-related cancer death, though I guess you can never be 100% sure:

Hmm, the 9/11-related health insurance coverage expires in 2016...

its not a coincidence when the tower collapsed many people were exposed to cancerous material. It's just beginning to effect them now. If this is true then that would mean that 14 years after you are exposed to cancerous material it takes effect. I think I should post this to the Nobel prize people.

I know he isn't an eligible DDP candidate, but what do other members think has happened to John Cantlie?
