Still only one point at home all season, but we've now doubled our goals at home tally to two.

Deathray 2,940 Posted October 23, 2016 Newcastle 3 Ipswich 0 Championship - we're going to walk it. It's looking good. If you're still top after Xmas you should be fine. Hopefully, the cup run doesn't seem to have harmed us yet, but slightly worried about picking up too many injuries if we go too deep. Really nice to actually have a cup run though. charon 4,943 Posted October 26, 2016 Well travelled to dingall for that Celtic shite. But the 3 goals in the last couple of minutes covered the handicap and paid for it.

maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted October 27, 2016 Whereas Thistle are... not yet bottom of the league. One team we should probably mention in the context of serial under-achievers are East Stirlingshire. Long the wooden spooners of the Scottish League and celebrated as such in the highly recommended book Pointless by Jeff Connor (wherein the author tries to discover why anyone would bother owning/managing.playing for or supporting such a shite team) "The Shire" are now in truly strange territory. The revised promotion and relegation system to the fifth tier in Scotland finally tipped them out of the national league. However, they're now enduring a season in which they are fairly good; though not really threatening to win the Lowland League. Rant over!

Although they did manage to lose 7-4 to Selkirk a few weeks back, but aye, they're feeding a level at around 3rd-5th in the Lowlands this season. Although at the going rate, East Kilbride and Edinburgh City could wind up swapping leagues in May. Also, we bloody won last night! Away to the only side in the league who had been below us (Dundee as mentioned up thread) and now out of the drop zone with our first win in anything since 6th August. Result, as they say. Deathray 2,940 Posted November 1, 2016 I don't get it. It's a bit inaccurate. Copenhagen's in Sweden, Bilbao's in the Atlantic ocean, Amsterdam's in Belgium etc, it's just bad geography.

I got that and St Petersburg is too far south as well. Is it an official map or is it meant to be a joke?
