Pro Piacenza, in Italy's Serie C, were told they had to play today (rather than forfeit) or would be kicked out of the league. So they have taken to the field with seven players. Their captain, who is 18, is also the current manager. It's not going too well, here's the half-time score:

EDIT: They did bring eight players with them, but one of them forgot his identity documents and thus is ineligible to play.

Wonder if we could arrange for them to play Fort William.

Sectarianism under the spotlight again NotW, a few unsavoury incidents in the last couple weeks.

I did lol at this tho.

Amusing the kids asked this, considering the wean on the left is wearing scarves with "stick your rosaries up your arse" and "Build my gallows" on them.

Footballers are thick as shit. All of them

Getting his teeth bleeched and using and whole bottle of st tropez every other week, makes rodgers an honourary scouser. Should of stayed and got ten in a row .

"I'll give my life to make the supporters proud of their club." Rodgers said.

Slightly surprising quote bearing in mind what happened to the owner not 6 months ago.

He couldn't. He can't manage a shite in the morning after a coffee.

His tactics v Valencia were jaw dropping and he is an abysmal manager.

So so so glad the cunt has gone, and gone into oblivion and the lower English leagues.

Second place in the Premiership is always something to aspire to.

Not when he should've won it.

Never won anything, not a fucking thing, in football as a player or manager until Lawell got conned into taking him on a huge fucking wage.

Hope he takes 6-10 of our midfielders that he accumulated, with him to Leicester.

Was agog when we signed him, and not in a good way, and that has played out as expected.

Naive, incompetent and refuses to bend his shit philosophy. *See most of Celtics worst ever results in Europe, are under the cunt.

Game was a comedy goal fest - three of the four goals having some comic element. Onward and - hopefully - upward. If we beat Forest Green today we're guaranteed to replace them in the play off places. No pressure, then

Darren Thomson (22), a Hibs fan who was hospitalised after suffering a bad stroke, overheard his nurses talking about how they supported rival team Hearts – and shocked them by blurting out his first words in four months: ‘Hearts are shit’.

Born on the same day, happy birthday to them both.

And kudos to the boy that pieced together the identical free kicks.

It's the Norway plus deal for Old Trafford then, nice to see a great institution in a state of confusion finally make up its mind: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47691296

So, basically, he will coach the team while perched on the knee of Sir Alex.

Well Sir Alex is the greatest football manager of all time so he will have a good teacher unless he gets ill again. United might have a chance against Liverpool and City next season, I hope so anyway.
