Best person to contact is Chaz. Not in best of shape. He was recently in the news after breaking his hip in a fall, but that post makes me wonder if he is alluding to something more troublesome. Seeing how he managed to troop through his previous bout with cancer I'd have thought he'd have stayed around for at least a few more months. There's no doubt Ebert had a genuine love of film. RIP.
