This page doesn't receive many updates because details of his health are very sketchy.

He must have got a lot of that in his time where people say "how you doing Stanley?"

also, who else saw the episode where spiderman meets him?

Does anyone want to pencil in the date of his death?

After all, I have an ink-ling he won't last long.

First time that i'm hearing about this subject, but apperantly there were claims for abuse against him that were investigated lately.

Remember this?

Read the article, it was his wife that was suspected of elder abuse, not Stan Lee himself.

Still seems to be fit, sharp and healthy. It'll be a long wait before he goes.

This is not good. It's common for the spouse to follow soon afterwards when they are pretty old. :(

Very sad news. Stan must be devastated losing his soul mate - they've been married since 1947 (!).

Bloody Norah. I can't imagine knowing someone for 70 years let alone being married to 'em for that long.

His wife Joan has died at the age of 93

Edited to say: didn't notice the posts above as they didn't come up on my screen when I was trying to post this.

Terrible loss. Can't imagine how hard it is to be 94 and losing somebody you've known for 70 years.

Probably longer than that. I mean people don't get married as soon as they meet them, do they?

To be married to someone for 70 years, and all of a sudden, that someone you love, is dead.

Sounds very sad. :(

They been married for 69 years. They didn't quite get married as soon as they met, but they weren't far off; getting married as soon as Joan was granted a divorce; most interestingly Stan was actually calling round Joan's house to take another woman out and ended up with Joan purely because she answered the door.

Most people don't get 70 or even 50 or 40 years with someone they love. So it doesn't seem sad at all to me. I mean, the guy won't have to live too long without her. It's simply their time to go.

He could live another ten days or another ten years without her.
