It's completely unscientific, but never rule out healthy old guys just keeling over after a long term partner goes. iirc up to 18 months after a spouse death is the danger zone for OAP men - live through that and you're as likely to live on for a bit.

Before we were married my wife used to work in a small village pharmacy. She had a lot of elderly couples as customers and as a general rule she said if the wife went first the husband would follow pretty soon but not always the other way round.

Reminds me of when Tony Hart announced he couldn't draw anymore, as that came out around this time of the year, too. He was dead the next January.

He has lost his ability to read and his wife.I am sure he is thinking "What is the point?"

I don`t think he will go this year but can see him rejecting treatment for any future conditions.

Like I say, Tony Hart.

(Who should have been on the 2009 list. Some of the Cmme posting on here even agreed, he'd been last man dropped from the 50 or something...)

Cancelled his appearance at the Comic Con Palm Springs, citing "personal reasons" as the cause (though the convention organizer has issued a shadowy response saying "We just wish him the very, very best, and we just really hope that he recovers quickly").

People who've lost all hope in life do not wear orange sweaters. It's a fact.

People who have lost all hope in life don't give a shit what they wear.  That's another fact.

Is it just me, or does Stan Lee look slightly more frail in this photo?

So even if he goes soon, your generation can have the moment some of us got with the later Hitchhikers guide audio books (2003ish release).

"It felt as though a ghost was speaking to them" says the narrator...

It's narrated by Douglas Adams.

I think Stan Lee is out of danger for 2017, but he is undropable for now on...

No one is truly out of danger. Death can happen at anytime. A part of me feels like filming more cameos is a bad sign...

Video of him from last week

Irma hurricane video

One thing I've taken from that is his eyes are barely moving and doesn't look like he looking at the camera suggesting he can't see it

Well he has publicly ststed he can no longer read comic books because of his sight.

Some pictures from yesterday, in Tampa.

He was also raising money for Hurricane Relief with American actor and eternal fat manchild Kevin Smith.

With just 3 months left, I don't think he is going anywhere... but is a good candidate for 2018! Undropable!

So he's staying in Tampa for the last 3 months of the year?
