Windsor 2,143 Posted August 30, 2005 Is it the fact that you, after more than 500 posts, are still nothing but a lowly member? I can't for the life of me imagine why...... Well I would imagine its because most of my posts are not relevant to the death of celebrities. Instead I tend to socialise with the other members which does truly annoy them. There is also that fact that I have not been here very long and some resent the fact that I have posted so much in so little time. There is also my increasingly bad habit of replying to ranters (like this) which sometime develop into full arguements. And ofcourse I laugh alot. My spelling also drives people insane (especially honez) but I do try my best. Some people dislike me because I'm a monarchict, some because I'm not very polite but some people just plain don't like me for reasons beyond me. Guest iain Posted January 3, 2006 (edited) Maybe Tony Blair should have been included on th is years deathlist.The strain of the job of PM coupled with his heart condition might just prove too much at some stage this year,or in the next couple of years.It would be ironic if Blair was to leave office the same way he got tyhe job in the first place ,dropping dead of a heart attack like the last Labour leader John Smith.It would also be a good way to get his historical legacy as he would be (falsesly of course) hailed for all time as a great poilitician ,as those who die in office generally are.Maybe Gordon Brown will help him along with some arsenic in his tea! grobler 35 Posted January 3, 2006 I dont agree that Blair is THAT bad....most of his policies were first tried out by SHE THAT MUST BE LOVED (Lady T for those not in the know...) However , I'm not too happy the way education has gone for example ...Univ should be far more elitist , with the clever , well off people being able to attend free...and the less able kids given subsidised bike riding lessons to help them find a job (plumber, refuse collector etc)..but hey...no one gets it all right ! From the Fraserburgh Herald: "The only known deangerous foreign prisoner released in Scotland by 'mistake' instead of being deported has been caught in Buchan. The unnamed man is now safe in custody after being arrested in Fraserburgh following an intelligence-led operation in the town on Wednesday". No. I'm not Lithuanian. I didn't suggest you were, Marjorie and I guessed you weren't from the basic grasp of the English language that you have mastered. I've never been to Lithuania, but I'm guessing their people are generally nice folk and a step up in the food chain from people who take great joy in boasting to the world that they are lower than rapists and sex abusers.
