Good riddance... Hard for me to reconcile Phil’s massive artistic contributions with his utterly demented personality. I’m honestly surprised he only killed one person in his life, considering he was always flailing his gun around like an unhinged Yosemite Sam.

I bet he was a Trump supporter...

Probably buried in a wall of sound.

His dead makes me wonder how actor Robert Blake is doing now. He must be close to 90 now and he also murdered a girl and stood trial around the same time.

No rest for the wicked now he's been picked up by Peter Sutcliffe on the Long and winding [NEVER ENDING] road!

Ronnie Spector has died at 78.

The first Ron to do one this year; not only surprised but a bit saddened really.

Sad news. Died after a brief battle with cancer.

I'll listen to Be My Baby more times than Brian Wilson one day, if it's even possible.

RIP

As tragic as her death is, I think we can at least cheer on the fact that Ronnie was able to outlive that abusive prick Phil who pretty much destroyed her career.

Very sad indeed. Regularly on Twitter and not on any radar for popping off.

My terrible chat-up line to my missus of eight years now was a Ronnie Spector reference, so definitely pouring one out here.

While she may have outlived him chronologically, she died almost 3 years younger than him.

Ain't life fair...

The documentary series is fascinating. He was the Caravaggio of his era, for good and ill.

And though You've Lost That Loving Feeling is arguably a superior cultural artefact than Barbarian Queen, it's as informative on Lana's life as Phil's.
