So far, the first Last Word Only QO, yes, but I don't know, she might get one of those backlog Times obits. Just like she seems a sort of "quiet times Last Word" obit. There weren't many big names in the past week.

It seems we are in total "backlog obit" mode right now. No high-profile deaths in a week or so. I'm surprised we haven't seen a tumbleweed on here lately.

Discovered only know, that american writer and poet David Wagoner, who published numerous poetry collections and novels, died at 95 years already last month before christmas.

He was twice nominated for the National Book Award. His best-known works include In Broken Country (1979, poetry) and The Escape Artist (1965, fiction).

breast cancer has spread to my liver

so I'm now under palliative

rather than curative care.

 

It’s a total sod

but Ollie and I

are surrounded by love,

grateful for every moment we have.
