Aww, aren't you cute with your wee baseball cards. ^_^

Like a child in a sweet shop (or a kid in a candy store seeing as you'll probably demand it be in 'Murican English).

Frankie de la Cruz, who played 26 games split between Detroit, Florida, San Diego and Milwaukee during a lengthy pro career that saw him play in places like Mexico and Japan, has died. He was 37. His biggest claim to fame, however, was as part of the trade that sent Miguel Cabrera to Detroit.

Ed Armbrister, central figure in one of the most controversial plays in MLB history during Game 3 of the 1975 World Series(which the Reds went on to win), dies at 72 in The Bahamas. Also did a lot of work with inner-city kids and local baseball leagues. RIP Ed.

Former major league player and coach Tom Robson has died. He was 75.  Taken by the Mets on the 50th round of the 1967 amateur draft, Mr. Robson played two seasons in the major leagues, both with the Texas Rangers. He batted .208 with four RBIs over 23 games and 54 plate appearances in 1974 and ‘75, playing first base and designated hitter.

A real hot mess going on with this card of his.
