"Life is the name of the game and I don't want to play the game with you"

Great entertainer - I grew up watching his second stint of Generation Game, very funny!!

RIP Brucie

Almost 500 guests. Shows that a massive death like his can really bring a lot of people here...

Won't be missed by me, he has done nothing of any worth for 50 years and did not deserve a knighthood ahead of some others.

Have to say I used to have a quiet chuckle every time the Honours List came out and he wasn't on it...

Didn't he die well?

For the record, only seen this now.

RIP Bruce, though.

I had a feeling there'd be several massive deaths this weekend - simply because the last week was bereft of any B- or even C-list names.

Has this come too late to be blamed on attributed to Aaron Ramsey?

The One Show is axed for tonight, replaced by tribute show.

Even in death, he brings happiness.

Sad, but entirely predictable. He lived a good life and enjoyed it. My 13th hit on my long list.

RIP

Sad sad loss for the British television industry and British entertainment as a whole. He's had a long and fulfilling life and I hope is family are able to remember the smiles he brought to everyone's face. Probably one of the last universally recognised faces of British television; as in you could as a 9 year old or a 99 year old and they'd both be able to recognise his catchphrases or know a programme he did.

This seems like a perfect time to post Bruce's HIGNIFY guest host slots. Very amusing.
