Reading this article about Fawcett, it makes mention to Cher being suspected of having a possible cancer - which the singer flatly denies. Smoke and Fire and all that?

DWB :P

Farrah has also been worried about her son Redmond O'Neal, 24, who was arrested on suspicion of drug possession last September. He is in his 13th rehab stint in 10 years, in Venice, California. Just last month he left his mother with a £6,000 bill after he damaged a villa she had hired for him to celebrate his birthday.

Outside chance of a family brace this year by the looks of that.

Oh no, not enough one of my childhood icons about to breathe their last? :(

Reading that article however, I'm sure Farrah went to Germany for specialist treatment early last year. Could this just be old news?

Don't think so, it refers to that and says she's gone back to the same clinic.

I call bull$hit. Another one of those "this celebrity is gonna imminently die soon!!!!" teasers.

I'm really sick and tired of these bull$hit articles. I guess it's a desperate attempt to sell newspapers by trying to appeal to people's obsession with the moribund, especially if they're celebrities.

There's been a spate of articles lately proclaiming that all these famous celebrities are about to die soon. Yet we haven't exactly had an avalanche of celebrity deaths lately...

I'd like for you to be right since she was right on my cutoff, but something rings true about this. I say she is a goner by the end of April.

Same here. When I read the article I gleefully thought that she would be my 3rd hit. But upon checking, it would appear that I removed her from my list.

Still, she is in my shadow list/top 50 - too bad that counts for nothing.

Entertainment Tonight doesn't think there's anything to get excited about.

Fawcett herself seems tight-lipped on her impending death. Anybody would think they are keeping her from the cameras...

With all these goings off with Farrah Fawcett, I've replaced Eddie Fisher with her on my Rotten.com deadpool entry since I'm still in my first months grace period. Now I'm just wondering if it will pay off for me. :(

Guest Grave Mistake

Who do you think will go first: Farrah or Swayze?

Honestly ... both of them should be dead by now b/c both of them are suffering from extremely lethal and debilitating forms of cancer. I don't know whether to be amazed (as a person) or frustrated (as a fellow deathlister) at the two's improbable survival (so far).

Who goes first? Not really sure ... I thought Patrick Swayze was done for, but this guy is impropably still living. I still think he will go first. There were several instances when I was thinking to myself that Swayze was finished, but much to my and the rest of the deathlisters' chagrin, he still pulls through.

But Farrah actually looks worse judging by the recent photos and video interviews I've seen of her.

I heard a brief interview with Fawcet where she said that she was doing fine, but was annoyed that she was photographed in a wheelchair.

I'll try and find a link to the quote

No, asshat, you've once again gotten it wrong. This site isn't about people who we want or hope will die (well, of course, with some obvious exceptions of truly horrendous people). I don't think many deathlisters are hoping that Patrick Swayze will die, just acknowledging that overall the chances are very likely that he will. Think of it this way: you can accept and deal with the fact that a family member has a terminal illness and act accordingly, but that doesn't mean you actually want them to die.

Then again, you think Palestinian and Israeli children getting blown to pieces is "great news", so you probably throw a party every time one of your relatives gets cancer.

You're in a vocal minority of asshattery who actually wants the decent folk on this list to die. Don't drag the rest of us down with you; even though he is on my list, it is not at all to my chagrin that he is still alive. I try to ignore most of your scummy comments, but I refuse to be categorized within the same frame of mentality as you.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
