isn't this thread on topic?

Very probably. I'm not the most original of thread starters I have to say... :)

A vote for Alastair Burnett over here please - not that I've checked all the runners on the old spreadsheet.

Went for Ludo but I think Sandy and Robert Kee are ones to keep an eye on too.

Alistair Burnett.

On my previous voting record, he'll now outlive all the rest of them!

I voted for Kendall. Although saying that it would most likely be either Kee or Gall to go first

Ludovic Kennedy was the next to croak on ‎18th October 2009. Who were the winners?

If we can get seven new newsreaders "getting on in years" to go with the three remaining survivers from the original list.  This thread could be re started.  My suggestions for the list are :-

Sir Trev

Michael Aspel

Sandy Gall

Martin Bashir

Bill Turnbull
George Alagiah

Joan Bakewell

John Craven

Anne Diamond

Jan Leeming

I really don't like auto correct, inclusion was the required word. Yesterday my phone replaced tagine with ravine twice.

Isn't this the same as 'Name a Million Dead People' - just living instead?
