It's hard to work out with these people whether it's cold calculated posturing which they know will kill people or just immense blinkered religious stupidity.

Either way, karma has served up a nice dish for us.

You are wrong, he's probably been poisoned because he disagrees with covid agenda, just like Nkurunziza.

And another - Hamed Bakayoko, current Prime Minister of the Ivory Coast, has died aged 56 from cancer, although over the past year he has suffered Covid twice and severe malaria.

Mwai Kibaki hospitalised. No, at home and well. Well, as usual you decide.

John Dickhead Magufuli airlifted to India according to the opposition leader Tundu Lissu, whose name is disturbingly similar to an Italian variety of tomato.

Manuel Saturnino da Costa (wiki), PM of Guinea-Bissau from 1994 to 1997, dead at 78.

This means we had an African leader triple yesterday. Some say the "deaths happen in threes" thing is nonsense, but they sure do happen often enough round here. :P

No, it's Tundu Lissu, whose name recalls Tondo Liscio, the most appreciated variety of tomato in Italy.

Former Kenyan PM Raila Odinga tests positive for COVID and is hospitalized.

Also received treatment for neurological disease these past days. He should survive, but it is far from guaranteed.

John Magufuli alive and well in Tanzania, at least according to his PM. But I think this is a rather elaborate scam to destroy Lissu's credibility and the bastard is not ill at all.

According to Tanzanian VP, it is normal to be "indisposed" after "a flu", so she asks for "prayers". Magufuli and COVID are never mentioned explicitly.

Wiki says "heart disease", definitely NOT Covid.

Yeah, surely. Words from his VP, after months of denying COVID would they say the dork had died of COVID?

Pierre Nkurunziza went exactly the same way. And another Tanzanian president, Benjamin Mkapa, died of "malaria" in the full denial period, with strong rumors it was not "malaria".

Almost sure Magufuli died of COVID, but it won t be confirmed before some years in the best hypothesis.

Just seen this news. Hilarious. I read on Saturday in the 'i' about the PM's announcement he was fine, still in Tanzania, he'd spoken to him this morning regarding state matters etc. except absolutely no photos or video of him. I thought, 'Oh, well that sounds all above board doesn't it? ' Dead 5 days later. Got to love a despot's denial of reality.

Article about gerontocracy in Cameroon. President Paul Biya is 88, President of the Senate Marcel Niat Njifenji is 87, Speaker of the National Assembly Cavaye Yegue Djibril is 81 and most notably Senator Victor Mukete is almost 103. He was last seen in Senate mid-March and looks 25 years younger (photo in the article above).

Also, the Chief of Staff of Cameroon's army René Claude Meka is 82. Looks ancient in this picture from 2015

Likely COVID too, as he was hospitalized along with his wife, though he reportedly tested negative. Just the flu apparently.

Mwai Kibaki has been in hospital for three weeks to treat a "condition that affects his immune system". His secretary has denied it, but I'll admit The Star was previoysly right about Moi, Mahdi and Magufuli.

It's got 'descent into civil war' written all over it.
