Looks like Hal The Archer will get an outing on the Doctor Who Advent Calendar....

Didn't expect Lady Eleanor to outlive him.

Northern Ireland born actor Gerald Home, who played Tessek- Squid Head and Captain Verrack both in Return Of The Jedi, has reportedly died:

He operated the puppet Audrey II in the Little Shop Of Horrors movie, and plenty of TV character roles. Let's be honest, he'll be remembered by most for appearing in those Mr Muscle adverts

Alan Ladd Jr has been a tempting pick for a year or two as he showed up on the BBC to talk about one of the new Star Wars films and looked like fucking shit.

My fault for replying to his daughter's death report a year ago.

A friendly mod ( @Death Impends?) can put them in the Star Wars (?) thread later?

Missed this post at the time but Colin Cantwell got a brief reference on the latest edition of Last Word, hence my finding this post via search!

Richard Miller, an Industrial Light and Magic sculptor who was behind Prince Leia's gold bikini, has died. He was 80.

Miller also designed the Rocketeer suit for the titular film and sculpted the basic prosthetics for Davy Jones' tentacle beard in the Pirates of the Caribbean film, among many many other credits. One of great those unsung heroes of film props and effects. RIP.
