Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 7, 2017 On 7/16/2015 at 12:27, YoungWillz said: For interest, the new President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is 90 year old Russell Nelson, replacing Boyd K Packer who died as reported above. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/reuters/article-3164197/Former-heart-surgeon-head-Mormon-Churchs-board.html Always seems to make the Daily Mail, so probably a shoo in for a UK obit when he pops off. No sign of Monson, the head of the Church going though. Latest news on Thomas Monson -- sounds like they sent him home to die. Anyone read it differently? DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted April 9, 2017 Coptic Pope Tawadros II had only just left St Mark's Cathedral in Alexandria today when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the front door. Tawadros probably owes his life to the vigilant security guard who challenged the bomber before he got inside. The Islamic State have made repeated threats against the Coptic community in Egypt recently, so it follows that blowing their head man to smithereens would be a good result for them. Definitely worth a speculative punt in an upcoming deadpool IMO.

Death Impends 7,957 Posted April 18, 2017 One of those victims of last-minute stubbornness for me. I was aware of his illness before 2017, but since it was announced in the final days of the year I was hesitant to take any of my names out...
