Didn't Jim Nabors have a liver transplant like 10 years ago or something? Seems like I remember something about that. When is he gonna kick the bucket? Also, Don Knotts, Andy, they are really getting old, so here is a vote for one of them in 2005.

Thelma Lou is old and fat and that is that!

Who will be the next Mayberryite to pass on?

Jim Nabors dead. http://myfox8.com/2017/11/30/jim-nabors-known-for-his-role-as-gomer-pyle-has-died-at-87/

Should probably go in the 20th Century Sitcoms thread, however, Larry Storch is reporting that Ken Berry, who played Sam Jones on the show has died aged 85. https://www.facebook.com/LARRYSTORCHSPAGE/?hc_ref=ARSQ4WO5x90cUZiH_WI6O6HPo93oHRHjoLXqt4DFPrK5CRCrfeoEYXoPigbIGuxK8iA&fref=nf&__tn__=kCH-R

Wow that’s huge news.  Ken Berry was way bigger than some role on that show.  He did Disney movies etc.

Sad loss indeed. Now the only surviving main cast of that show is Ron Howard. Unless you include Elinor Donahue from Season 1.

Maggie Peterson - Wikipedia

Andy Griffith show I'm guessing?

Maggie Peterson must have been picked for the DDP at some stage.

Had a similar gut feeling but it doesn't look like it.
