Strikes me that for the oldest survivors a few of these guys - notably Ali - are surprisingly young. maryportfuncity 10,644 Posted October 12, 2010 Heard today that George Cooper - identical twin brother of Henry - died a few months ago. Don't recall seeing a post here. George was arguably the better boxer in the early days but injury stalled his career after which - as an identical twin - he was further held back because he was the same weight as Henry and prevented by the rules of boxing's governing bodies from fighting his own brother for titles. By Christmas of 2010, he knew that the fight was over. The doctors said that one more terrifying round of chemo offered a small chance to extend his life by a couple of months. Charles said no. And now in his death, the lead story on the UK news is ripped from him after just a few hours when a super villain is taken out. Poor old Henry Cooper - RIP.
