What a shame! Those would have been great last words...

 

I agree DdlM, ones I could particularly agree with as the house I live in used to belong to my late father-in-law, some of the wallpaper was absolutely shocking , the vestibule in particular was decorated like a 1970's Indian restaurant, red and gold flock wallpaper, I hope I never die in a room like that! Still it was nice to read those OW quotes, some great ones there.

Thought it was about time there was a thread devoted to the final utterances of the great and the good before they breathed their last.

 

For example...John le Mesurier's last words were.... "It's all been rather lovely." Very Wilson-esque.
