He was 61. He was just 39 years old. Powell was just four days away from his 40th birthday. He had been diagnosed with incurable cancer and Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 15, 2021 The San Francisco 49ers had some very unfortunate news to share this afternoon. Former defensive back Lynn Thomas has passed away. He was 61 years old. Thomas spent his college career at the University of Pittsburgh before eventually being selected by San Francisco in the fifth round of the 1981 NFL Draft. The Greenville, Florida native has reportedly returned to his parents house in Valdosta, Georgia and is under hospice care for liver complications. Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 26, 2021 Raider Nation is in mourning today following the passing of legendary Raiders safety Mike Davis. He was 65 years old and had been undergoing a battle with cancer. Mike Davis would win two Super Bowls, 1980 and 1983. He would play eight total seasons for the Raiders and one with the Chargers before retiring after the 1987 season.
