The DDP biography is inaccurate. He lost the 1969 Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs. The winning TD in that game was scored by Otis Taylor, who just passed away a few days ago himself.

Former Philadelphia Eagles Frank LeMaster has died at the age of 71.

The Eagles announced Saturday that LeMaster died on Thursday. There were no details regarding the cause of his death.

LeMaster spent all nine seasons of his NFL career with Philadelphia after being selected by the Eagles in the fourth round (89th overall) of the 1974 draft. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1981, one season after helping Philadelphia reach its first ever Super Bowl before losing to the Oakland Raiders.

Interesting list, plenty of QO opportunities I believe.  6 head coaches, a couple QBs, and one of the greatest RBs.  I would bet only 4-5 of these do not get a U.K. QO.  Joe Schmidt is on my Made In Detroit theme team (he is one of the 6 head coaches).

Bill Leavy - NFL referee - dies at 76. I have a lot of Seattle Seahawks fans on my facebook feed, and they all hate him.
From the article:
Leavy officiated two Super Bowls, most notably Super XL between the Steelers and Seahawks. The officiating crew was met with criticism afterward, and Leavy subsequently apologized for mistakes he made during the game.

Don McIlhenny, a member of the original Dallas Cowboys team, has died, according to multiple reports.

He was 88.

McIlhenny had reportedly suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for a decade.

McIlhenny will always hold a place in Cowboys history because he scored the team’s first rushing touchdown during the 1960 season.

Charlotte Hornets are NBA (basketball).  Carolina Panthers maybe?
