Had a dream that I was running a radio station and we had a guest presenter. In wandered Cliff Michelmore who apparently I had booked to do a show. Don't know where that came from. I have the odd premonition, but I don't see me getting a radio station soon.

Not strictly DLing because I didn't really dream about this site per se but I had a dream about the Queen dying of natural causes on Sunday after the VJ celebrations this year.

 

(Context, I was discussing the possibility of an ISIS attack on the VJ celebrations targeting the Queen and potential political ramifications with someone last night - they were convinced it would lead to WW3, I'm more of the mind everyone would mourn for a bit the people would be shot and we'd move on).

I dreamt Kelsey Grammar died while awaiting sentencing for drugs charges. The dream felt so real I had to check the news first thing this morning.

Yesterday, I thought how there hasn't been any major death in almost two weeks now (since the death of Sacks and Wes Craven), so consequently I dreamt last night about how this drought led to two really major deaths today. One of them was Rupert Murdoch (how it could happen: a stroke at hearing the Labour leadership vote?), ut I forgot the other one...

Boring post warning.

 

Had a strange dream last night, in which it was New Years Day and the 2016 Deathlist had shown up. I'd had a glance at it, and knew it would annoy people, especially as it had "Any one former World Leader" in 5th place. I went onto the forum, which was full of threads (over 100) ranting. What I remember now is that posters (non-specific) ones were angry that the Deathlist had ignored Jimmy Carter, and the interesting case of one Paul Taylor (who I presume was made up), who was in 3rd place. Their was general disillusionment that the Deathlist had picked an 125 year old civil rights activist for "an easy pick", until someone pointed out they were sure Taylor had died in 2013. Then, someone else pointed out that Tayor had died in 1975, which was followed by the actual Committee showing up and suggesting that the man had faked his death and was alive.

 

I only mention this for future reference as the dream claimed Zsa Zsa was number 1 Deathlist pick in 2016, George Bush Sr was 2nd and Olivia de Havilland was 4th.

Dreamt last night that Leslie Phillips had died the day after his 92nd Birthday (April 21st this year).I think it was down to a twitter discussion I saw yesterday after Alan Rickman`s death broke were people were listing who they wished could never die and his name came up.Also I heard about Angelil`s death just before bed last night so I guess that meant I had death on the brain while sleeping.Maybe I also dreamt of Leslie because I was wondering in the day who the next actor from Harry Potter would conk out.I figure it will be either Phillips or Coltrane.

A strange one last night. I can't recall most of it, but I think we were with family and there was an announcement about the DDP on the radio. Anyhow, I went online, and saw Sir Creep's sad post: "I can't believe all of my team have died and I didn't even finish in the top ten! All because some no name died in a car crash today!" Apparently it was Christmas Day. All very strange.

 

A few weeks ago I dreamt that Kate Granger had died and everyone on here was very sad because it turned out she'd been one of the long term posters here all along too.

Rather weird one. I took a brief nap earlier this evening after logging on the site to dream that BBC News launched a program called "And goodbye from them..." which was two hours long and rounded up every notable celeb in the weeks deaths. The opening segment was David Dimbleby (who'd been chosen to host it) explaining that due to a minimum of a dozen people who would have qualified for tea-time news end of the line segments dying on a daily basis they'd been told by the BBC Trust to move obits for all but the biggest of figures in the country off the news and into specialist program. The beginning of the program listed that 120 year old Prince Philip, 131 year old Nicholas Parsons, 120 year old, 100 year old Bill Roache, 90 year old Jeremy Clarson and 127 year old June Spencer were the biggest deaths of the week and congratulating Maueen Stewart, a viewer from Northampton who'd sent him a tweet (although he bemoaned the outdated nature of the medium) predicting Clarkson was ripe to go . For some reason David Dimbleby himself hadn't age. Naturally are chart showing deaths by age group was in the background.

 

Probably the most surreal and most vivid dream I've had for a long time!

Dreamt that someone on here was giving it the big one about they were going to win this year because they'd picked DJ Yoda and "he has IBS".

 

I do not believe the popular audio/visual mash-up artiste suffers from said problems in real life, or that IBS can actually kill you.

As someone with IBS, it can often feel like it's killing you.

Had a bizarre dream where the DDP's scoring changes were announced, and it was some sort of hodgepodge of on-forum pool rules. As will likely happen in reality, there was now a penalty for picking cancer mums, but there was also a 5 point Hollywood Squares bonus, similar to Hartlepool Deadlypool. Keeping further with the Hollywood Squares theme, you were allowed to create a 3 x 3 bingo set of 9 of your names, but they could only be those who were also in Hollywood Squares, and you got an insane bonus if you got three in a row.

 

Also had a dream later that night where I was aboard a plane where Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter were also passengers. Rosalynn looked really frail and needed to use a wheelchair before taking her seat.

Had a dream that I had sex with this beautiful, brunette girl from Bosnia.

 

Anyways, for some reason this was happening at my grandma's house, and the house was crowded with family members. So it took a while to find a room.

 

After the sex, she started talking about her family. Surprisingly, I actually paid attention.

 

She mentioned that her grandpa was famous. It turns out he was a popular deadpool pick. I don't remember his name, but he was probably fake since there aren't any Bosniaks who are popular deadpool picks, as far as I know.

 

Anyways, he was on my DDP team and Shadow List, and I felt really bad for picking him.

 

I then went on the DL forums and scolded everybody for picking the poor, old grandpa of a girl I fucked.

I dreamt last night that Alan Alda died and so did some young Swedish actress I had never heard of but who everyone on Facebook was going on about. There was some mystery about her death because the newspapers were refusing to say how she died so people were using weird tactics to find out. In my dream I was annoyed because Alan Alda's death was ignored and because I've retired my M*A*S*H theme.

 

I don't normally like quoting myself but somewhat coincidentally Alda's co-star Wayne Rogers died exactly a year later. I don't think any Swedish actresses died at the same time though.
