Some other article mention this 'balcony fall'?  Cuz this one don't.  Or is it a joke I am missing?

The heroic mother-of-three who dragged actress Jessica Falkholt and her sister from a car wreck has been left horrified after witnessing the scene of another fatal crash just weeks later.

Lisa Elmas, 44, was one of the first witnesses on the scene of a horror head-on crash that has left a former Iranian Olympian and his five-year-old son in critical condition, and his wife Tamara Mobarrez, 36, dead.

Former swimmer Hamid Mobarrez, 36, and his son Eli continue to fight for life in hospital with critical head wounds after the family's Subaru Forester was ploughed into by a Volvo driven by a 39-year-old man.

Subarus and Volvos and horrific crashes. Why are we driving all the time? Why not just stay home on benefits and drink.

"Anthropocentrism is is the belief that human beings are the most significant entity of the universe."

One day Rad is going to subconsciously put that into a school exam and Deathlist will be responsible for his subsequent university career. :D

If he subconsciously puts 'is is' into a school exam then I'd be rather concerned.

Aye, something along the lines of...

'Which four letter name is shared by an Egyptian goddess, a network routing protocol, a dog from Downton Abbey and a terrorist organisation?'

Way back in early December, Cy Young (not that one) died aged 89.

He won gold at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, basically beating the Finns in an event they dominated, in their own back yard (on his birthday too!).

He is the only US athlete to win that event, and since then, only one other US athlete has reached the podium.

Got curious tonight, so I looked up the roster of the 1972 Soviet basketball team that controversially won the gold medal over the USA in Munich. I found out that only 4 of the 12 players on that team are still alive.

Anatoli Polivoda (b. May 29, 1947, age 70)

Modestas Paulauskas (b. Mar. 19, 1945, age 72)

Ivan Edeshko (b. Mar. 25, 1945, age 72)

Alzhan Zharmukhamedov (b. Oct. 2, 1944, age 73)

Coincidentally, none of the four remaining players are native Russians either - they're Ukranian, Lithuanian, Belarusian, and Kazakh, respectively. Ivan Dvorny, who died in 2015, was the last surviving Russian member of the team.

Only 1 Lithuanian on the team? No wonder they needed the refs help to win

Looks like she’s looking for financial aid...
