Jorge Roldán died on June 8, was born in Guatemala City at the age of 82, played in the 1968 Olympics as a player and in 1988 as a coach and was also coach of the Guatemalan national team, he was the first Guatemalan soccer player to play professionally for a club from Spain, when he was a member of Hércules CF in 1972

Vyacheslav Zaytsev died at age 60, he was born in Leningrad (Soviet Union) and represented the country in volleyball at the Olympics in 76 (silver), 80 (gold) and 88 (silver) in addition to being world champion in 78 and 82 and runner-up in 74 and 86, and world cup champion in 77 and 81 and silver in 85 and European champion between 75 and 85, the championship was played every 2 years and he was champion of all at that time.

That's dreadful, seeing as she was found dead at home having not been seen for several days.

"she was estimated to be 8 months pregnant and undergoing labor at the time of her death" so the baby died too.  :(

Sadly, yes. This online notice refers to her having been predeceased by a daughter Ariana.

Viktor Lisitsky died aged 83, was born in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia SFSR, USSR and died in Moscow, was a gymnast, he competed in all artistic gymnastics events at the 1964 and 1968 Olympic Games and won five silver medals, three individual titles in 1964 and two for the Soviet national team, in 1964 and 1968, at the European championships, Lisitsky won three titles in 1965 (washers, vaulting and pommel horse), three in 1967 (barrels, vaulting and horizontal bar) and one in 1969 (horizontal bar), and finished second five times. At the world championships, he won only two team silver medals, in 1962 and 1970.

Nikolai Sviridov was born in Staraya Veduga (RUS), and died in Voronezh, (RUS), aged 84, he competed in the 5000 meters at the 1968 Summer Olympics and the 1972 Summer Olympics

James Hardy was born in Seacliff, South Australia, Australia and died aged 90 in Adelaide, he was a yachtsman and represented Australia at two Olympic Games (1964 in Tokyo and 1968 in Mexico City), captained three challenges in the America's Cup (in 1970, 1974 and 1980) [4] and competed in four Admiral's Cup Ocean Racing Championships

János Söre was a Hungarian cyclist, born in Budapest. He competed in the 1000m time trial at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He died aged 88 on 11/Jun/2023

Bret Hudson was born in Sydnei (AUS) 49 years ago, died on 14/jun, competed in men's artistic competition at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and finished 51st in men's individual all-around, represented Australia at six world championships - 1991, 1992 , 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1997, competed in two Commonwealth Games:

@whoismakoto, I’ve noticed that you received several letters from football players or their relatives or you wrote to them. How do you make that happen ? Do you write to football federations and they give you their address ?

He was living in a retirement home located in Cheltenham, so he probably died there.

It's a matter of research. Most of the time, this site https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk records almost all people who became officers of a company including those who have long resigned, retired, and even dead. It usually lists the individual's birthday and correspondence address. Otherwise, a little help from 192.com and phonebooks.
