Bill Nankeville, 1948 and 1952 GB competitor in the 1500m and various relays, seems to have died:

Bobby Davro's dad.

Pick for @Handrejka on the Shadowlist at least, dunno about the DDP.

Well there's no doubt that Bobby's  got his dad's genes - what a spitting image.

He coached that great Brit, Christine Ohuruogu.  What part of England is ‘Ohuruogu’ from?

It’s like the Jamaican-born Canadian sprinters.  Whatever.

I suppose Paul Chelimo (Kenyan born, Silver Medallist 2016), Kerron Clement (Trinidadian born, Gold Medallist 2016), Morolake Akinosun (Nigerian born, Gold Medallist 2016), all part of Team USA, also fall under your disdain?

Also since you seem incapable of a google search, Christine Ohuruogu was born in London.

Are you trying to get a troll crown or something?

This piece of blatant racism, which I can only assume is done on purpose for reaction.

Elsewhere you criticize local covid19 behaviour whilst not only admitting but even boasting that you are the only person posting here who has flown across the Atlantic twice during the epidemic (and unless for undisclosed business reasons, only for social ones).

Elsewhere again you post 'classy' as if Joey's gag was in any way out of the ordinary for this site.

The inconsistency is masterful.

This DL website has a grand total of one person who has been to both the U.S. and U.K. during the pandemic: Sir Creep.  Twice in fact.  So anyone expressing an opinion comparing the two countries handling of COVID not named Sir Creep speaks from a position of ignorance.

And with that, SirC chuckles at the audacity of the U.K. chucklebutts who point at the Yanks ‘oh they bad and don’t do what needs doin’ (true enough) while ignoring some home grown foolery.  Mr Creep can assure you that his visits to Morrisons shew numerous folks prancing around maskless, and/or incorrectly wearing the thing as a decoration for their protruding proboscii, and sadly that includes a number of employees/team leaders.  It was as bad as any store you want to point to across The Pond.  As with every store anywhere, SirC blames management.

So it is with a raised eyebrow  that he posts this headline — one stating that Morrisons will ‘enforce’ the wearing of masks.  Not sure what that means though.  Is there going to be a change in management?  Because it’s shewn existing leadership hasn’t a fucking clue.  Is the enforcement going to apply to employees?  Will they get sacked?  Will enforcement include shewing people how to wear it correctly?  Will it include banishing neck gators which are proven to INCREASE the threat of COVID?  Will they shew customers with full trolleys the door who aren’t complying?  Is there a zero tolerance policy or do they get a warning and who keeps track of warnings?  Just what does this all mean?

So let’s record this on 12/1/21: SirC is calling bullshit - without answers to these questions and training or overhauling existing management it’s all a charade and a birdcage liner headline.

(FTR at Sainsbury’s, SirC never saw a violation worth noting.)

Klete Keller, a swimmer and two-time Olympic gold medal winner for the United States, was recognized by former teammates and coaches as one of the participants in the deadly pro-Trumb mob that overtook the Capitol last week.

Swimming news website SwimSwam on Monday was the first to report on Keller’s apparent presence at the riot, noting that at least a dozen people in the swimming community had identified him in video footage posted on social media by a reporter from a conservative outlet, Townhall.

A wonderful bird is the Pelekanakis. His beak can hold more than his belly canakis.

According to this article, the 2020 (er.... 2021) Summer Olympics are still ON for this year in Tokyo.
[clearly they'll be cancelled, but worth the read].

Not an actual critic, but Khakhaleishvili died on January 11th and it was widely reported back then, though not here.
